What do you call stress?

Yesterday evening I sat at my six year old son's baseball game with my two oldest daughters (Jordan & Ashley) and Jordan's boyfriend (Ross). We had a good time and laughed while enjoying the game. Ross and I were teasing Jordan about the fact that she gets stressed very easily. This was all in fun but it brought up an interesting topic for me today while I was sitting here starting to get frustrated at work. Everyone has their own limit before they feel stressed or overwhelmed. I have always felt confident that I was able to handle more than the majority of people in my life. So I started taking inventory of the stressors that I have experienced. I want to discuss some of these things with you over the weekend when I have more time. Several topics had already been dropped in my lap and they will tie in well with this discussion. In the meantime please think about your limits. Maybe you are one of those people that possess the ability to weather any storm, small or large, with grace. Or should you work on your ability to handle stress? I welcome your ideas of what truly should be considered stress.

I will share more about my stressors later for now I am going to continue my deep breathing!

Oooh, this sounds like an interesting subject. I'm looking forward to reading your post. There are things that REALLY stress me out and I'm going to spend some time thinking about this and what motivates my reactions. Funny you bring up this subject as I'm currently reading a book called, "If Life Is A Game, These Are The Rules." It delves into the handling of life's lessons and bringing your life into alignment. Perhaps the next few days will prove personally productive for me...

Money, health, school, kids....the list could go on and on.

I think that as I have grown older, my idea of "stress" has changed dramatically. I also think it all depends on your life experiences and the way you handle them. I'll have to give this some thought......
